Options for Chicago’s Financial Future

The Chicago Financial Future Task Force is an independent group of 23 civic leaders charged with charting practical, forward-looking options for the city’s long-term financial health. Established under Executive Order 2025-1, the Task Force is providing options to tackle rising costs and persistent budget pressures with solutions that go beyond balancing the books. Its focus is helping city leaders to build a financial foundation for growth, fairness, and opportunity in every neighborhood.
